On the occasion of the BHB Garden Summit 2017 in Cologne, sustainability was also on the agenda of the event: In the context of a panel discussion on the topic of “Sustainable Procurement of Natural Stones”, the BHB discussed with experts the tense relationship between sustainable natural stone extraction, valid certifications and social responsibility. Participants of the discussion panel moderated by Jana Stange, BHB’s Product Compliance, Environment & CSR Officer, were Georg Abel, Federal Managing Director of Consumer Initiative, James Herrmann, Director Fair Stone, Friedel Hütz-Adams, South Wind Institute employee, and Dr. Ing. Walter Schmidt, Managing Director Xertifix.
