The Fair Stone inspection trip to China, carried out from December 7–18, 2024, marked the first return visit to the Shandong province since 2019 and included the first visit of Guangdong province. The trip focused on witness audits, introducing the WiN=WiN Fair Stone scheme to new exporters, and reconnecting with long-term partners. An additional key goal was identifying a suitable local candidate for the role of Fair Stone Representative China. The trip revealed persistent challenges such as excessive working hours and logistical complications due to surging sea freight costs.
