RÖHRIG granit® GmbH, with its headquarters in Heppenheim-Sonderbach and a branch in Lampertheim, supplies granite worldwide. Crystalline gray granodiorite is mined at the two quarries in Sonderbach, Lärche and Gehrenberg, and red gneiss is mined at the Böllstein quarry.
In 2016, RÖHRIG granit® GmbH was awarded the German Stone Industry’s Sustainability Prize by the Miro Association, along with the Special Prize for Biodiversity and the Second Prize for Social “Local Partnership.”
