In January 2015 new suppliers from Changtai and Jinjiang regions in Fujian province, China were successfully registered within Fair Stone system. Our Chinese Representative’s team has visited the stone processing factories and conducted the Fair Stone Workshops for the factories’ workers on Occupation Safety and Health. During the training workers were instructed on danger combined with work in the natural stone industry as well as encouraged to use PPE. Our team has also explained the workers on how to properly use protective dust masks and ear-plugs and assisted them with the self-check-ups.
